“Day of Unity” Press Conference

On October 1, 2015: Safe Passage and JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, will be hosting a Press Conference from 2:00pm – 4:00pm to start the celebration of survivors, agencies and people that work to end violence.
Safe Passage “Day of Unity” Press Conference MC is Dennis Zine- Honorary Mayor of Woodland Hills and Jarrod Bunch, former NLF New York Giants & Owner of Bunch Time Productions. Our event host is Javier Cano, Vice President and Market General Manager of The Ritz Carlton, Los Angeles and JW Marriott Los Angeles, L.A. LIVE.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) evolved from the “Day of Unity” held October 1981 and conceived by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The intent was to connect advocates across the nations who are working to end violence against woman and their children. The “Day of Unity” soon became an entire week devoted to a range of activities conducted at the local, state, and national level.
